to step upon the silver bridge of hollow moonlight
a word of warning to those who tempt the tides
if we know for certain when is the surprise
death will abduct you, rip you from the womb push a hook right through your lip and out into the blue
death will spellbind you, it'll seem like a lifetime each wave that crashes down, another year gone by
death will distract you from an ocean of pain you will find that numbness is all that keeps you sane
death will expect you, this passage has been blessed one day you'll climb aboard, and death will be your guest
there's no telling when death will reel you in
it won't matter what you saved or how you sinned
